Today’s taster was a bottle of 1992 Lynch Bages – Pauillac 5 Ieme Grand Cru Classé.

This bottle as you can see on the picture has a poor label – but the fill was still perfect – and we don’t care about the label but about the quality of the wine.

2012 Chablis Montsmains Raveneau

Because my warehouse manager celebrated his  50th birthday we opened and tasted a bottle of 2012 Chablis Monts Mains from Raveneau.

Perhaps still a little too young as Raveneau produces Chablis that can age for decades.
